Summer Program Schedule

The 2015 WSCC Summer Chinese Program consists of four two-week sessions from July 6th to August 28th. The full day program operates from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm while the half day program operates from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm or from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Friday is a full day for the weekly field trip.

Session 2: July 20 - 31, 2015
Session 3: August 3 - 14, 2015
Session 4: August 17- 28, 2015

Daily Schedule:
8:30-9:30 Arrival and Free Play
9:30-12:00 Morning lessons - Chinese Culture & Language Arts
12:00-1:30 Lunch and Break
1:30-4:30 Afternoon fun activities - Variety of Arts &Crafts, Science fun, Cooking class, Puppet show, Yo-Yo playing, outdoor sports or Carnival fun ...
4:30-5:30 Free play and Pick-up

Field Trip Options:
To Boston and nearby places such as Water Country, Beach, Amusement Park, Museums, Kid Shows, etc

Daily schedule:
8:30-9:00 Arrival and Free Play (学生报到）
9:00-10:15 Basic training （基本功训练）
10:15-10:30 Morning break (课间休息）
10:30-12:00 Essence of classic Chinese dance -form & rhythm (身韵）
12:00-1:00 Lunch （午饭）

1:00-2:30 Props and folk dance （道具, 如手绢，长绸， 筷子，枪 等）
2:30-2:45 Afternoon break （休息）
2:45-3:45 Tumbling (毯子功）
3:50-5:00 Dance (舞蹈）
5:00-5:30 Free play and pick up （自由活动，放学回家）
